Here is a nice option for those who are looking for a tablet running Windows – the 2goPad SL10 Pro tablet from the Oregon based company CTL. The tablet is not neccessarily a new device, as it has not been developed from scratch. Instead, the 2goPad SL10 is based on the extremely popular SL10 models which has been further tweaked while some new features have been included which has led to the birth of a new tablet – the 2goPad SL10.
Coming to the tablet’s specifications, its a 10 incher with an Intel heart, the latter almost a must if you have Windows running the show. An Intel Atom N450 processor running at 1.66GHz forms the core of the tablet and is coupled to 2 GB of RAM. On board storage space amounts to 64 GB solid state hard drive which CTL claims is up to 56 percent faster than standard hard drives. Additionally, there is also an SD Card Reader included to expand storage options even more. Operating system is the Windows 7 Professional edition.
Among the other key features of the tablet are 2 USB ports and compatibility with Adobe Flash video as well as HTML5. The 2goPad SL10 can connect to the internet via either 3G or B/G/N wireless. The 10 inch multi-touch capacitive screen can respond to both finger as well as a capacitive stylus, the latter being part of the tablet package which also includes other stuff like a cleaning cloth, a portable wireless Bluetooth keyboard, a VGA adapter for an external monitor as well as a case.
This is what Erik Stromquist, Executive Vice President and COO of CTL has to say about the tablet’s launch: “We are excited to introduce the SL10 Pro model. Our vertical markets have been asking for this type of solution and we’ve responded. The SL10 Pro model is one of the most powerful, full featured and flexible tablets on the market.”
Price for the 2goPad SL10 tablet starts at $799 and is currently available on pre-order. Actual deliveries are expected to start only in late December.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
