Here is one tablet device that promises to be with you, come rain, hail, or snow. The Arrows Tab from Fujitsu is one of a kind in that it is completely waterproof. Also, if the Japanese manufacturer’s claims are not enough, here is proof in a video which depicts Balazs Gal from nDevil actually dipping the tablet into a small pool of water. After drawing out the tablet, there appeared to be no damage sustained, as is evident from the video. However, don’t even think of doing that with the iPad, as it is more prone to water ingress and it does require careful handling for that purpose. What has to be kept in mind is that the Arrows Tab F-01D with its rugged design has been specially built to withstand water.
This special quality apart, the Fujistu Arrows Tab F-01D is a tablet like any other available in the market. It running on a 1 GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual core processor with I GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. It has a 10 inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, while the OS is Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
So apart from the rugged tablet devices currently available, which are made mostly for industrial use, the Arrows Tab is for domestic usage and is one that lives up to its name.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
