If you are among those who have been holding on to their purchase of the HP TouchPad in anticipation of the more capable 4G variant, well now is the time. The WebOS tablet is already on pre-order at Amazon where the price mentioned for the 32 GB 4G + Wi-Fi version is $700. The tablet will be able to hook on to AT&T’s HSPA+ network, though the specific release date is still anybody’s guess. Instead, all that Amazon is sharing is the usual “this item has not yet been released” or “pre-order it now and [Amazon] will deliver it to you when it arrives.”
The 4G version though will have the faster 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a step ahead of the 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip that powers the Wi-Fi only versions of the WebOS tablet. Everything else is expected to be identical to its Wi-Fi only cousin, except of course the price.
What remains to be seen is whether consumers will be ready to splurge on a tablet with a relatively unknown OS and poor application availability. This in spite of the TouchPad having its own strong points in the form of an impressive hardware build up and an equally impressive performance. Not to mention the recent bout of discounts as well.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
