We first reported earlier in the year that the Amazon Kindle was going to be sold at Target, and a month later it was! We also reported that the Barnes and Noble Nook was going to be sold at Bestbuy, and a month later it was! We now are getting news that around October 3 2010 Target will begin to carry the Apple iPad.
This is the perfect gift for the holiday season! Many people who do not have a Apple Store in their town or city, will give people an buying alternative to having to purchase a new tablet off of the main apple website.
Many e-readers are now being sold at large retail chains, and we can see Apple also jumping into the fray. The Amazon Kindle is being at Target, and soon will be available at Staples and Bestbuy. The Barnes and Noble Nook is available at Bestbuy and many other retailers are starting to carry the Sony E-Reader Line. If anything, customers benefit if they want to have an e-reader in their hands now.
Although we have gotten a message from a anonymous tipster whom works at the Target Head office, we have no difinitive proof, other than his word. We will continue to follow this story as new inventory pictures will undoubtedly surface soon.
