The last that we did hear of the JooJoo tablet was during late August when Fusion Garage, the company behind the tablet had come up with a significant update of its software. However, things weren’t exactly spectacular ever since and JooJoo failed to enter mainstream tablet market. However, while this let us know the company is still alive, the recent revelation of a new JooJoo being in the making that will go on to replace current version will hopefully get them into the alive plus kicking mode.
About the new JooJoo, those behind it now wish to draw upon Android to make a mark. However, company sources did make it a point that though the new JooJoo will run Android, it won’t be an Android tablet in the strict sense of the word. Rather, what they are looking forward to is using the Android brain while optimizing it to deliver what consumers ideally want out of their tablets, an example of which is to integrate the various messaging services like Gmail and Facebook messages now available and to bring then all into one single interface.
While further details of the tablet are not available, what is known is that the current JooJoo will cease to exist once the new one comes along though all JooJoo’s already sold will be provided with all maintenance support. Also, the company will no longer have a single product to show off and will have a slew of tablets to offer in the new year.
Also, with Gingerbread all set to join Froyo, Fusion Garage might have the version on their next tablet as well, something that will only increase the prospects of the tablet.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
