Here finally is the QuickOffice update that would allow users to edit their document. A bit late the much awaited update sure is but then its not too late either. Moreover, the best thing is the update is there for the taking for which one has to connect to the webOS catalog site using the TouchPad.
So while the QuickOffice update will allow for editing Microsoft Word and Excel documents, the formatting options currently available include options to change the font type, color, and size, along with underlining, italics, and bold in Word. In Excel, users now will be able to format cells and use functions in Excel.
The TouchPad might be officially dead but its appeal has just got a boost what with the features of document editing and the previously available 6-pack apps had made the HP tablet all the more handy.
