We just reported yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy Tab got a sweet price decrease for T-Mobile customers from $540.00 to $349.00 on a two year contract. US Cellular got in on the action, not to be outdone and lowered their $199.99 with a 5 GB a month data plan!
This is great news, that more companies are subsidizing the Galaxy Tab, which was heralded as the best tablet computer alternative to the Apple iPad, but whose price was a tremendous drawback from people pulling the trigger and actually buying one.
US Cellular giving away the Tab for around $199.99 is a good deal, but keep in mind the 5 GB data plan will cost around $54.99 a month.
