Samsung has been busy in the research and development area and has come out with a new device that seems to be a hybrid tablet and e-reader.
The main design premise is a clamshell type of device that strikingly looks like like Entourage Pocket Edge. It seems to be a dual book device and many people are speculating that it may feature e-ink on one side and an android one on the other. Underneath both those screens is a full QWERTY keyboard that would allow people to take advantage of a tangible keyboard built into the chassis.
The drawings don’t give much information away but when drawings are sent to the FCC and other companies most often the finished designs are not public knowledge. Most of the technical documentation and finished device pictures often have a non-disclosure agreement in place for a duration of time.
Maybe we will see Samsung bringing this device to the upcoming IFA conference in Berlin Germany and might get a better scoop there.
