It seems like only yesterday that the Android driven Samsung Galaxy Tab was released worldwide and many people hoped on the Apple iPad alternative that gives you FLASH, albeit for a hefty price tag. It seems that Samsung is now expanding on their product line for 2011 with the Samsung Gloria, a Windows 7 based tablet.
The new Gloria Tablet from Samsung features a 10.1 inch full color capacitive touch screen, with a full pull out QWERTY keyboard. Although the picture above, is just a mock up, Samsung has grand plans to unleash this product to the world around March or April of 2011. Hopefully they will bring a prototype to the CES in January.
The prospect of having a tablet that is just not reliant on a touch screen interface to do your emailing and typing is grand. Samsung hopes to distinquish themselves from the horde of tablets comming onto the scene in 2011 with unique UMPC / MID’S such as the Samsung Gloria.
