Whatever might be the reason, the Apple iPad does not come with a screen that measures a full 10 inches. Instead, it measures a quite odd 9.7 inches. While there has been no dearth of tablets running Android and each trying to outclass the Apple tablet, most of them have been in the 7 and 10 inch size categories, with perhaps none in the exact 9.7 inch category, again for a reason perhaps best known to the manufacturers.
Finally someone has decided to compete with Apple in the 9.7 inch category. A tablet running Android sports a display that measures an exact 9.7 inches. It is the Woori Pad that has its origin in Korea, the part of the world that has gifted us with the brilliant Samsung Galaxy Tab and a new device from LG also in the pipeline.
As for the tablet itself, the Woori Pad includes a 1 GHz processor and runs the Android 2.2 Froyo. The tablet will feature either a 16 or 32 GB internal memory, though of course there is also a microSDHC card slot that will let you expand your storage options even more. Lastly, as for the tablet’s looks, while the demo unit does look cool with its purple border, the Woori Pad as a whole does not look like a beauty contest winner.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
