Vizio now has Hulu Plus support, which they concluded on Wednesday. With this they will be the first Android based tablet to have such a support. The 8 inch tablet from Vizio was using the older version of Android 2.3 and this has allowed for Hulu to adapt its streaming TV service for the device. For the same amount of $8, one can access the entire Hulu online catalog.
When the Android 3 tablets will get a truly native app has not yet been announced by Hulu. The OS from Google has multi-device support, yet the support is quite limited at present when it comes to streaming data. The present video content for tablets running on Android comes mostly from Google and Netflix.
Vizio had launched the 8 inch Wi-Fi enabled tablet towards the beginning of this month itself and comes with an integrated universal remote to control other home entertainment devices. The Vizio tablet also includes an HDMI port which allows content to be viewed in HDTVs. Another point in favor of the Vizio tablet is its price, which at $299 does make it the cheapest Hulu Plus offering in a tablet. Its nearest rival on this is the iPad, though it costs way more at $499.
iPad support had been available a year back and it is only now that Android support has been extended by Hulu. The Hulu Plus is now currently available at Android Market, which the users have to first download to their tablet PCs. They will then need to sign up to the service, which will cost them $7.99 a month.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
