Asus has come up with some exciting tablet PC plans and its not just about one or two tablet devices that they are talking about, but a whole bunch of them. And its going to range from 7, 9, 10 and 12 inch categories with the earliest we can expect to see the tablets start populating markets is from December.
For the 7 and 9 inch models – with each model in each category comprising of several versions – the release date has been pegged at March 2011. Also expected is that the 12 inch model will be based on the proven Wintel platform and will go on sale sometime next year. And as for the 9 inch models, its likely for them to be based on ARM-based Nvidia Tegra 2 platform with Android as the OS. With Google all set to release its latest version next year, we can also expect the Asus Android tablet to have the latest Android versions. Word is also on the street that the 9 inch models will cost around $100. Now if that turns out to be true then we have a sure shot winner here.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
