Here is a neat little device featuring an E Ink display that can make your to-do list a lot more life-like than ever. The device which first appeared on Reddit has immediately hit the sweet spot for many and have also proposed to buy one if it becomes available for sale. Fortunately for those, the maker with the Reddit ID ‘esonwong’ has promised to commercially launch the device sometime soon. Though no timeline for the same has been announced yet, those interested are welcome to enter their e-mail to join the waiting list on the product website. The device meanwhile is being simply referred to as the E-ink Todo List.
That said, there is almost nothing that we know about the device as yet except that it is going to display info in sync with Apple Remembers. The image shown reveals a list of things to be done with a Radio button for each, which likely points to the display being receptive to touch inputs. Just tap on any item to select the same and you should easily get to know which tasks remain to be done. The E Ink display with its glare-free display and wide viewing angles makes things easier both for your eyes as well as your efficiency.
The ultra-low power affinity of the E Ink display is also a huge plus as the display can be there for the entire day or for as long as you want it to be there without any appreciable drain on the battery. The device also appeals with its simplistic design given that almost all of it is the display itself, with only a stand at the bottom. The display also looks great with the narrow bezels around it for the upper half.
Let’s hope we get to know more about it soon enough. Stay tuned.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
