Lenovo has just announced two budget tablets that start at $89.99, the M7 and M8. These two devices are designed to appeal towards the same type of customer that would purchase the Amazon Fire 7, but without having to invest in the Amazon ecosystem.
The Tab M7 features a 7 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024 X 600 LCD. It is powered by a quad core MediaTek processor and has 8GB of storage. There is 1GB of RAM and a 3,500 mAh battery for 10 hours of use. It has a 2MP rear facing camera for pixelated photos and it runs Android Go, which is the companies lightweight version. It will retail for $89.
The Lenovo Tab M8, on the other hand has a resolution of 1200×1920 pixels, MediaTek Helio A22 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. There’s also a 5,000mAh battery which can run for up to 18 hours. It has a 5MP rear camera with auto-focus and a single speaker on the side which is tuned by Dolby. It runs on Google Pie and will retail for $154.
