Overdrive is launching a new audiobook program that will allow anyone to download two free titles every week all summer long. This is apart of the Audio Sync initiative and is sponsored by AudioFile Magazine and titles are delivered through the OverDrive app.
There are a number of publishers that are contributing content for the next four months. This includes Hachette Audio, Harper Audio, Scholastic Audiobooks and Recorded Books. I was not able to find any modern day best sellers available in the database, but I guess production values will at least be high.
The best thing about the new Overdrive system is that that the audiobooks are yours to keep. You don’t even need to choose one or the other, but you can download both of them. Titles are refreshed every Thursday, but you can scroll back to prior weeks and download those too.
You can checkout the list of audiobook titles and download them for free HERE.
