Barnes and Noble might have unceremoniously discontinued their Nook e-reading app for Windows 10. This was the last piece of software the bookseller operated that allows you to read books on your computer. The app has been unavailable to download for the past couple of weeks and if you go to the product listing page, it says it is currently unavailable. It continues to function for people who have already downloaded it, but new downloads are not possible.
The Nook app for Android and iOS continue to work, as well as the Nook Audiobooks app for the same platforms. This might be your best bet if you want to read your Nook ebooks on your mobile device, if you do not currently have a Nook e-reader.
In the past when Barnes and Noble has abandoned support for various platforms, they never do an official announcement, one day it is there and the next it is gone.
