If you don’t want to spend the money on a new Nook Glowlight 3, the bookseller is now offering it as a refurb for $89.99. They are certified and tested to make sure there is nothing wrong with them and it includes a 90 day unlimited warranty. This is the first time B&N is selling these as an everyday item, I suppose it is due to people returning them to the store, as an open box and now they can be resold online.
The Nook Glowlight 3 is their latest generation e-reader and it came out in late 2017. It has a six inch 1440×1080 and 300 PPI screen with manual page turn buttons a N on the bottom, which acts as a homescreen. Underneath the hood is a 1 GHZ Freescale processor, an undisclosed amount of RAM. It has 8GB of internal memory, but when you power it on for the first time there is only 6.3GB available. B&N recently issued a firmware update which makes all available storage available for sideloaded books.
Barnes and Noble is releasing a new e-reader sometime soon, it attained FCC certification a month ago. I think buying the Nook as a refurb is a good deal for $89, the standard price is $119.
