Comixology has updated their seminal iOS app that brings full compatibility with iOS 7. This app is for reading digital comics and this company just hit the 200 million download mark in September. You can get almost every mainstream brand such as DC, Marvel, Archie, Walking Dead, GI JOE and thousands more. The app itself is sporting a new icon, splash screen and a number of graphical UI elements.
The Top navigation bar has undergone an upgrade and has condensed the text to be smaller and closer together. They have also eliminated the Just Added text and now simple says new. It is also hard to miss the elimination of the pure black design and the gravitation towards softer colors and gradients. Likely the best update was the new age rating system. Comics will display a rating similar to how video games are labeled. You can easily get a sense on whether or not it is aimed at kids, teens or adults.
