The Apple iBookstore is a valued option for many publishing companies to make some money from their ebooks. Recently Apple rolled out new support options that will make getting information and support easier than ever. If your company has an iTunes Connect account, there is a new option to call a publishing support service via the telephone. You can call the support line at any time for any issue the company already covers under email support. That includes publishing and tax problems, ePub and iBooks Author questions, sales information, and more. Calls are toll-free from the United States and Canada.
Apple is one of the few companies out there that now gives you the ability to phone them up with your digital publishing questions. Amazon, who is one of the biggest digital publishing companies, only has a simple email support feature. Many publishers and indie authors find that getting their support tickets answered sometimes takes a few days, if at all.
The new telephone support line is available for publishers Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. You can find the full list of contact phone numbers HERE.
