The publishing world goes through cycles in its yearly calendar. Many literary agents tend to close to submissions in December, and the weeks after BookExpo America are a nice summery deadtime when it comes to releasing new titles. That’s why fall is such an exciting time for books, and Amazon has announced some of the most eagerly anticipated upcoming titles from names like John Grisham, Stephanie Meyer, Bruce Springsteen, Amy Schumer, and more.
“As editors, we look forward to fall because it’s the biggest season for new books and a great time to highlight picks we think readers will enjoy,” said Chris Schluep, Amazon Books Editor, in a press release. “Our team sifts through hundreds of titles to curate a list that includes fan favorites like John Grisham and Stephenie Meyer, and authors that readers may not have discovered yet, like Maria Semple and Sabaa Tahir. We hope readers get as much from these books as we did.”
Some of the titles are already available for pre-order, and include books in a wide variety of genres. The following list was curated by the editorial team at Amazon, based on their projections for top-selling reader favorites.
