Amazon has just removed thousands of self-published e-books from the Kindle Store for violating the companies terms of service. Any book that had the three keywords; Kindle, Free and Bestseller were subject to removal.
Two weeks ago Amazon sent out thousands of emails to authors, letting them know that their title or e-book description contained one of the bad keywords. If an author did not make any changes in their Kindle Direct Publishing dashboard, there is a strong likelihood that the offending book was delisted.
