Barnes and Noble is looking for beta testers for a new e-reading and ebook discovery app for Android and iOS. The company posted a message on Facebook looking for people who read a ton of books to get involved and offer their feedback.
The application for the new app is a Google said and it states “We’re thrilled you’re interested in participating and can’t wait to share a first look at Barnes & Noble’s new mobile book discovery experience.
As a tester, you’ll be part of a small group test driving the app for the first time. You’ll be expected to download the app to your phone and send us feedback based on your use. Your feedback will directly impact how we transform the experience before releasing to the public.”
Barnes and Noble will be emailing a download link for users on iOS and Android in the next few days. It will be interesting to see what this app is all about and if it will eventually replace the existing Nook e-reading app.
