The digital ebook publishing start-up company One Bite Reads is trying to specialize in small bite-sized novels. These books are meant to be read in one sitting and the company is seeking to compete with Kindle Shorts and Kindle Serials. Right now, One Bite Reads is looking for new authors to help themselves launch by contributing an idea for an ebook between 5,000 and 10,000 words.
One Bite Reads is a specialty publisher, founded by Kevin Riley to provide readers with a good selection of interesting mini novels by talented new authors. The company is looking to introduce emerging authors to bring you well-written, captivating stories that can be enjoyed in the doctors office or during commutes. In a recent interview he says, “We believe in partnering with our authors. If we help them succeed, we all succeed. To help our authors, we’ve instituted such programs as our Fair Share Royalty Program, our 3-Step Editing Process, our Discover & Spread Program, and are implementing a number of other ways we can help our authors to get high-quality work out to a large audience of readers.”
Currently the company does not have any ebooks on sale yet, but they want to start launching content within the next few months. There is also no word yet on the royalty program for authors, but the ebooks will be sold on Amazon. Rest assured, there is a mailing list to find out new information as it develops HERE.
