Rita Toews, the founder of the program, told us in an exclusive interview that “Last fall we petitioned the Canadian House of Commons to declare March as Read an E-Book Month. We are pleased to announce that the 41st Parliament of Canada, by virtue of Motion M-293, has recognized that e-books present significant benefits for individuals of all ages and are an environmentally-friendly alternative to print books. The month of March has been officially recognized as Read an E-Book Month.”
