The Harry Potter eBooks have been anticipated for years and finally went on sale last week. Since then, companies like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and others have been redirecting customers from their own ecosystems to buy the books directly from Pottermore.com. Demand has been crazy to say the least and in a recent interview with the Naked Book Podcast, CEO Charlie Redmayne proclaimed the company made $1.57 million dollars worth of sales in the first three days!
The Harry Potter Books are estimated to have sold 164,000 copies and the books are really reasonably priced. The first few books are sold for $9.99 and the later books are available for $11.99.
