Heroes has developed a cult following since the series first launched in 2006 and was cancelled in 2010. It was one of the first superhero television shows that followed the lives of ordinary people who discover superhuman abilities, and how these abilities take effect in the characters’ lives. The television show has been since rebooted as of a few weeks ago and in order to help fill in gaps between the original and reboot is a series of new e-books.
Heroes Reborn — Book 1: Brave New World’ will be the first of six eBook sci-fi thrillers was released on September 25th on Amazon. Noah Bennett and The Haitian, characters from the original story, are included in ‘Brave New World,’ which was written by award-winning science fiction writer David Bishop, who was a former editor for 2000AD and Judge Dredd Magazine.
All six titles, which will be available in eBook and audiobook formats, will be penned by different authors, including New York Times-bestselling author Timothy Zahn and multi-million bestselling novelist Kevin J. Anderson. At some point after the release of the sixth title, an anthologized print version will be available.
