Nickelodeon has just released a new e-reading app designed for kids and is available on the iPad and iPhone. Nick Jr. Books features a collection of digital titles featuring stories from PAW Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Bubble Guppies, Dora the Explorer, Dora and Friends, SpongeBob SquarePants, Team Umizoomi, Wallykazam, and Blues Clues!
Each of the 47 ebooks available are fully narrated with 3 reading modes: auto-read, read-aloud, and read myself. Nick Jr. Books also includes unique interactive effects and character animations on every page.
There are three free e-books that are available to download when you install the app for the first time and register an account. Additional titles will cost a few dollars each and there are parental controls to prevent unauthorized purchases.
