Simon & Schuster has reported that they generated $145 million for the first quarter of 2016. Digital revenues represented 28% of Publishing’s total revenues for the first quarter of 2016. Best-selling titles included Lady Midnight: The Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare and As Time Goes By by Mary Higgins Clark.
S&S also proclaimed that publishing operating income was $13 million for the first quarter of 2016, which is an increase from $12 million in the first quarter of 2015, primarily reflecting lower production and selling costs.
