Call me Ishmael is a service where people call into an answering machine and leave a book review. Every week one review is selected and the audio is posted to a YouTube Channel. I like this idea because people describe exactly why they love the book they love and how it has changed them or affected their life.
Each YouTube video gets a few hundred views but the folks behind Call me Ishmael are in the process of doing something very different. They developed an old rotary phone that they want to get into schools and libraries where book reviews are given right over the ear piece when you call into a special number.
I recommend to checkout the Call me Ishmael YouTube Channel and maybe discover a new book.
