Amazon has enacted its yearly ritual of discounting a myriad of Kindle e-readers for Mother’s Day. The Kindle Paperwhite is available for $99 and the Kindle Basic is $59, which is a $20 savings on both models for US customers. Canadian customers can buy the Paperwhite for $99, which is $40 off the regular price.
Later this year Amazon will be releasing the Paperwhite 4. In Canada only the WIFI model is available, the 3G version has been sold out for months. It is expected the Paperwhite 4 will have a new comfortlight screen and have Bluetooth for Audible functionality.
