Amazon is getting very bullish about the upcoming holiday shopping season and has already been sending out a myriad of press releases hyping up deals. When you order books or other items from their website, shipping becomes a concern the longer you wait. In order to get items to UK residents out faster, Amazon has just announced that they are discounting Prime membership for £59 instead of £79 until November 18th.
Prime membership for the UK gives you the ability to get free two day shipping and the opportunity to use Prime Now — the company’s one-hour delivery service, which is only available only in London and Birmingham at the moment.
There are a number of other compelling reasons to get Prime, such as access to lightning deals, a free e-book every month and access to Prime Music and Amazon Instant Videos.
