The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite e-Reader and the Kindle Fire HD are both launching in the United Kingdom today. Both devices are available to purchase on the main Amazon website and should be available on the retail level at Waterstones.
One of the big hyping factors is Amazon Instant Video, which is only available to USA based customers. If you live in the UK, you will not have access to any of its videos, but you can download the LoveFilm app from the Amazon App Store. If you buy the new Fire HD, Amazon will even throw in one month’s free service.
The Kindle Fire 8GB is available for £129 for the WIFI model and €159 for the 3G, while the Kindle Fire HD is in stock now with the 16 GB and 32 GB models priced at €159 and €199.
