Amazon has just launched a new promotional campaign in the United Kingdom. In return for downloading the Kindle e-reading app, buying an e-book or purchasing a print title, users will get a special coupon code. It can be redeemed to download one free Kindle e-book from a pool of 6.
The titles that Amazon is giving people for free for just doing one simple task is fairly compelling. The Kindle e-Books currently available are; Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb, Bernard Cornwell’s Anglo-Saxon historical title The Last Kingdom, Veronica Roth’s Divergent, Payback by Kimberley Chambers, Sleigh Bells in the Snow by Sarah Morgan, and The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen.
