Amazon is notorious for not sharing financial data on its ebook and Kindle division. Instead, we mainly have to rely on press releases and analysts to give us a clearer picture on the health of its digital division. Scott Devitt at Morgan Stanley did his due diligence and reports that in 2012 Amazon made $565 million on the Kindle division.
