Autography, the company that developed the capability for authors to autograph ebooks for any e-reader device or tablet, has announced a new partnership with Tri Destiny Publishing. Under this agreement, all digital titles from the publisher will be released through Autography’s catalog one week prior to being released on any other e-book platform, making Autography the go-to source for new titles.
In addition, Tri Destiny’s authors will use Autography’s platform for ebook signing at live events and conferences, as well as online signing events like the one GoodEReader hosted with Autography and author HP Mallory. Autography travels to a large number of conferences each year, including BoucherCon, ThrillerFest, and the upcoming RomFest 2012, to host meet-the-author tables. The company also speaks on a number of event panels throughout the year to educate authors and readers on the ability to promote one’s works through these kinds of capabilities.
“It can be used by authors of any genre to build a more personal relationship with each and every reader. Tri Destiny’s goal is to see all of our authors make this connection by integrating Autography into the very core of their platforms. We expect it to become as important as having a Facebook page or a Twitter account.” according to Tri Destiny Partner and Signing Editor Jessica Warth. “We look forward to working closely withAutography to bring this vision to fruition.”
One aspect of Autography that has set it apart and made it so popular in such a short time is the fact that the author page can be completely personalized and it is embedded within the digital edition of the book. It isn’t a separate file or stand-alone image. At live author events, the author page can actually be a photograph of the author and the fan together. From there, the author’s signature page can be shared on the reader’s Facebook page as well.
“We are honored Tri Destiny has entrusted us as their exclusive partner to help provide the best experience possible for their readers,” said Autography co-founder Robert Barrett. “We are impressed with their sincere interest in providing their authors with every possible advantage to be successful.”
