Bebook, who is well known for producing e-ink based e-readers such as the Bebook Neo and Bebook One, is going to be releasing a new Android Tablet June 21st 2011. This new 7 inch device will simply be known as the Bebook Tablet.
The Bebook Tablet is a 7 inch multi-capactive touchscreen tablet with a resolution of 800×600 pixels. It will be running the Google Android 2.2 operating system and will have a 1GHZ processor. You will get around 4 GB of internal memory to store your pictures, movies, and books. You can further enhance the memory via MicroSD up to 32 GB. It also has a G Sensor, so you can easily flip it from landscape to portrait mode. It is billed as a multi-media machine so you obviously have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, speakers, and a built in microphone
This new tablet has a few things going for it right now. It can play Adobe Flash online content, so you can get the full internet experience. It also has a front facing 2 MP camera for video chat and comes with a ton of pre-installed applications. You will get programs such as Aldiko and eBuddy.
No word yet if it will support the Google Android market. I would assume no, because if it did, they would hype that factor. It is available June 21st 2011 for $249 and you can pre-order it from the new website.
