Walmart and now Best Buy are dropping prices on the Nook Color dramatically for the foreseeable future to $199. This is a brand new e-reader that has been slashed from $249 to make way for the new Nook Tablet dropping this Monday.
The Nook Color was one of the most highly successful devices Barnes and Noble launched to date. It takes advantage of the full color screen by delivering cook books, kids books, textbooks, and interactive content. The Nook Tablet is poised to be announced officially on Monday, but if you can’t wait, we have the full specs available to read. The new iteration of the Nook will be priced at $249! In other news, the Nook Simple Touch Reader is also getting a price drop to $99.
