Kobo is suspending support for Blackberry smartphones using any operating system lower then 6.0. This is a move to support the QNX OS found in the Playbook Tablet and in the future phones offered by the company in 2012. You will still be able to use the application on earlier iterations of devices, but you won’t see any more official updates. Kobo is going to be offering customers a %25 discount on book purchases to help soften the blow. The company is also sending emails to users affected.
