The Nolim e-reader was announced last month and it is a byproduct of Bookeen and Carrefour. It features a six inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 758 and has a front-light, so you can read in the dark. You have around 8GB of storage to store your digital content and you can connect up to a digital bookstore to buy e-books via WIFI. It is available in over 1,600 retail locations and costs €129.
This e-reader has the best retail packaging we have ever seen. It opens up like a book and has all sorts of instructions and marketing material. There is a little red ribbon that looks like a bookmark and when you tug on it, the Nolim pops out.
Over the course of our unboxing video we show you the retail packaging and everything that comes with the device. We power the e-reader on for the first time so you can get a sense of the main UI and what it is capable of. Stay tuned for our comprehensive hands on review.
