E Ink is going to be announcing new plastic based flexible e-paper at SID Display Week. The company has spent the last year developing a spiritual successor to Mobius technology. It is very likely that the new e-paper is optimized for the new Freescale IMX7 Dual core processors.
In addition to the second generation Mobius e-paper, E Ink is going to be unveiling another new product. CTO Michael D. McCreary is going to be making the announcement early next week. I have no idea what the second thing will be, but it could possibly be Regal 2.
Here is a list of panels and discussions that E Ink will be conducing at SID Display Week, maybe it provides a clue on some of the new tech they will be announcing.
