The official Facebook app for the iPad is going to be coming out soon! The leak was found in the latest update to its official iPhone application that contained the code for the tablet version.
The iPad version of Facebook will use new HTML5 code along with others to make it the next generation of application. This app will allow for live chat with your friends, access to the wall, photos, and accessing the events.
You may not have heard of Facebooks new strategy dubbed Project Spartan. It is the social networks uber secretive strategy to contest Apple with its dominance on applications, with its own version of HTML5 based applications. The new Facebook for iPad using Html5 is the first part of the companies overall strategy.
