Good e-Reader is more accessible than ever before and you can now get caught up with all of the latest digital reading news on Google Home and the Google News app for Android and iOS.
If you live in the United States and have any of the Google Home speakers, Good e-Reader now supports the beta version of Speakable Schema. All of our articles will now be read aloud when you are initiating voice commands. You can ask Home anything ereader related by saying;
“What’s the latest news about $topic?”
“What’s the latest on $topic?”
“Play news about $topic.”
Google recently rebranded Google News and Weather and the Newsstand into a singular app called Google News. This is where all of the mainstream media outlets have various genres of news on the mainpage and you can configure your own favorite news sources, without needing to login to Google. Apple and Android devices can display the News widget on your homescreen and give you alerts when your favorite publication releases a new story.
Good e-Reader can now be accessed on the new Google News App! All you need to do is search “Goodereader” on any of the searchable fields and you can add it as a source. Alternatively if you follow specific genres like Technology you will find our stories side by side with CNET, Verge, or ENGADGET.
One of the big benefits of the Google News app is how quickly the stories and articles load. This is because to be showcases on this platform, publications need to be running accelerated mobile pages. This is a stripped down version of a website and all of the articles are stored on Google servers. No matter where you live are you connected to the closest data center for lighting quick load times.
Home and Google News App are just two of the latest platforms Good e-Reader is available on. You can listen to our podcast on Apple Podcast, Google Podcast or any of the other major platforms, such as Tunein. You can read the latest news from Good e-Reader on Apple News, Google News or the web/mobile versions of our website.
