The Amazon Android App Market has just landed HBO GO app for paid subscribers! This is the first time this particular app has been made available for Android tablets and in the past has only been able to run on smartphones.
In order to get access to the app you have to be a paid subscriber of HBO, but then you can watch popular television series such as Game of Thrones and True Blood and classics like The Wire and Deadwood. There are over 1,400 episodes and movies available, which is a copious amount of content. Since this announcement, many people were complaining that it is too complicated to be a cable subscriber and then get it running properly on the Kindle Fire. Many people were wishing that you could subscribe directly through the app, but HBO does not offer this feature yet.
