HyRead announced it is all set to launch its all-new e-note device, the HyRead Gaze Pro X. The e-note has been priced at NT$18,600, around 571 USD. Pre-orders start this February, and shipment is slated to begin soon thereafter.
The HyRead Gaze Pro X has a 10.3-inch E Ink Carta 1300 display with 300 PPI resolution. The built-in front light with individual warm and cool controls ensures perfect display illumination for an optimum reading experience in any external lighting conditions. The accompanying stylus supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and can be used for writing notes, annotations, and more. The Wacom electromagnetic pen offers a natural paper-like reading feel and does not need to be charged.
The Gaze Pro X runs Android 14 and supports the installation of third-party applications, which enhances its functionality even further. At its core lies an octa-core processor with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage. You can add up to 1 TB of storage via microSD cards. The device’s 4200 mAh battery keeps it going and should last several days or weeks comfortably.
The e-note comes with a built-in speaker and microphone. It can convert voice to text in real time, which can be helpful for students and office workers. This feature allows them to organize meetings easily, create notes based on them, etc. Other convenient features include a built-in G-sensor, allowing automatic screen rotation depending on the device’s orientation. Plus, there is a power button-integrated fingerprint sensor for device security.
The e-note measures 222 x 184 x 8 mm and weighs 420 grams. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity, and the Type-C port is OTG compliant. A rear-mounted 8 MP camera is also included. The device supports a wide range of e-books and image file formats.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
