Arta Tech used to be known primarily for being the European distributor of Onyx branded e-readers. Lately, the company has begun to make their own products and this is quite evident in the new inkBOOK Obsidian e-reader.
The Obsidian features a flush capacitive display with the bezel and a six inch screen. The resolution is fairly paltry on this model with 1024 X 758 and 212 PPI in comparison to the Kindle Voyage, Nook Glowlight or the Ultimate e-reader which has 1430 x 1080 and 300 PPI.
This e-reader is powered by a Dual-Core Cortex A9 1.0GHz processor in conjunction with 512 MB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal memory and a Micro SD so you can expand it up to 32 GB.
One of the big draws about this device is that it is running Android 4.2.2. This gives you the benefit of being able to install your own apps. You will download them from the Midiapolis App Store Aras has created, but it only has 10 apps or so, and is just piggybacking off of the Aptoide App Store for content.
This e-reader is available now for €145 and you can buy it directly from HERE. Keep in mind, its shipping from Poland so it will likely take awhile to ship to North America.
