The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2018 edition went on sale a couple of weeks ago and it is already on sale in the United Kingdom. The regular price is £119.99 and has been discounted by £30.00, so you can purchase the latest generation e-reader for a paltry £89.99.
The discounted Kindle is the base model with WIFI and 8GB of storage space. This is the Special Offers variant, so there will be advertisements displayed on the lock screen and homescreen. You can pay a certain amount of money to remove them, but normally you can just open up a customer service live chat and they will normally remove them for free.
There are a few big selling points to this 10th generation Kindle. It is waterproof, so it will be completely immune to water for up to 60 minutes. It also has Audible audiobook support, you can buy new titles from the Kindle store or download existing titles if you are already a subscriber. You can listen to the audiobooks via Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
