Its showtime for AmazonLocal. Well almost as a new software update to be made live within the coming weeks is all set to bring on the Amazon equivalent of Groupon to the Kindle with Special Offers while it is displaying the screen saver.
What is going to be special with AmazonLocal is that its only the deals that are relevant in the area that the reader is based in that would be displayed. Furthermore, readers won’t have to enter any of their account or credit card details and Amazon will complete the deal with the card that it is linked with. Once the deal is sealed, it will get reflected on the home screen of the Kindle e-reader, which in turn have to be shown to the merchant to avail the goodies.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
