Kobo has quietly announced a new contest on their Facebook Page of all places and hardly knows about it. This is the first major thing they have done with their new Super Points loyalty program, where you earn points on e-book purchases and can spend it to get free e-books. Each day Kobo is giving out prizes of 20,000 points, weekly $1,000 giveaways and a grand prize of 3 trips valued at $13,000.
The contest prizes change on a daily basis. Sometimes its 20,000 points, in other cases its free e-readers. The questions are fairly basic, they ask you what you are reading and you can answer in text or upload a picture. On the contest website you can read other peoples entries in a grid style layout similar to Instagram.
Kobo posted this contest 17 hours ago, and it merely had 1 social share and a handful of entries. If you want to win some prizes, this is one that requires very little energy and has some really tangible payouts. Keep in mind though, its only open to people in Canada, the US and UK.
