Another device has been seen at the FCC – the Nextbook Next3 e-book reader. Sporting a 7 inch resistive touchscreen, the display has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and runs the Android operating system. However, the Nextbook Next3 e-reader comes with just the disappointing version 1.5 of the Android OS.
For the rest of the specifications, it’s a dual core ARM926EJ processor that the e-reader is built around and is available in two flavors with either a 600MHz or slightly lower 550MHz processor speeds. On board memory is impressive at 16 GB of flash storage, which can be increased further by another 8 GB of storage space with help of the SD memory card slot. The Nextbook Next3 e-reader also includes Wi-Fi capabilities which forms the standard method of connecting to the internet while 3G is out of the loop as of now.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
