Onyx has been teasing a 13.3 inch device for a number of years and it looks like they are close to an official release. The company has announced that pre-orders are now available forĀ 585 Euros + VAT. This means that to your door, including shipping you will be paying over 700 Euros.
The Onyx Boox Max runs Android 4.0 on a dual-core 1GHz CPU. It features a 13.3″ plastic-backed E-ink screen (1600 x 1200 resolution), and it has a pressure-sensitive touchscreen and stylus. You can connect up to the internet via WIFI and it has 8 GB of internal storage for all of your content. Ā You can read PDF and e-PUB books out of the box but you basically need to install your own apps in order to get great functionality.
